It's been forever since I've posted anything on this site, mainly due to complete lack of motivation. Well, I'll keep this brief: I've decided to rewrite Cosmic Defiance from the ground up (and a real shame seeing as how it's less than three days from its debut anniversary). Now, this doesn't mean I'll be changing the humanized aspect of it, but it does mean I'll be changing a lot of the story and having it read in the third person perspective (as opposed to the first person perspective currently used in the story itself). The origin story of the relics (which were supposed to play a big role at first, but seemed to wane over time) will be placed sooner, maybe even part of the prologue in order to get it out of the way sooner.
That being said, I'm pulling the current chapters for Cos Def and will be redoing them completely, using the original storyline I had in mind before heavy editing (and personal fears of what may or may not work) prevented me from writing it how it was originally meant to be.
