Comet Blade, a local blacksmith from the city of Arpeggio, is stripped of his former way of life after the return of an ancient, inhuman king. His only possible salvation: a young spellcaster hailing from the lands of Equestria - Twilight Sparkle.

Join these two heroes as they are forced into a conflict that may very well decide the fate of the world. A fate that will start a brand new golden age, or plunge it into darkness until the end of time.

*Gasp*:pinkiegasp:*Gasp*! Is this what I think this is?!? Do my eyes deceive me?!? It is!! You've actually started again!! I didn't think this would ever have activity again! Don't leave us hanging again!!

Things can get pretty hectic in my own home (had a deportation scare with my stepdad for example, but thankfully cleared), so that really puts a damper on the writing spirit. No promises on regular updates, but I'll definitely be more active than I previously was.

6221254 I'm making sure it stays alive this time, and it's good to see that there are people still wanting to see it continue. :)

Like I said in the note, going to finish it no matter what this time around.

6223796 was here since like the 3rd chap i won't give up hope now.

Is this really back on, or are you giving us a false sense of hope like you did last year?

In any case, this was a good first chapter, though I still liked the old version of this story a little better... Now please, please, PLEASE keep going!

6229277 I apologize for any false hope I may have caused, but yes it's back, and I intend to finish it, complications or no.

Also, I'm uploading the old version of the fic on Google Docs this week. Unfortunately, no plans on working on that version anymore, but I'm putting it there at least for archival purposes.

6267186 Keeping the story a good read is really the only thing worrying me at this point (since the whole reason why certain chapters take long is because I'm a stickler for quality). Again, just glad to know people are reading it.
