Thoughts on the S4 finale *MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD* · 10:56pm May 10th, 2014
Oh my gosh that was the best episode of MLP FIM EVER! "Awesome" does not even begin to describe it!
In the first half:
The princesses all get to sing!
Discord turning traitor! I was hoping so much that would happen!
The three alicorn princesses (besides Twi) giving up their magic!
Ponies getting their powers drained! (And I assume most of their life force by extension).
Flashbacks to G1!
The first 5 keys to the box!
In the second half:
Banishments of the three besides Twi to Tartarus!
Lots of treachery!
The Six (7, actually counting Spike) - and Discord- losing their powers!
The library getting destroyed!
Knock-down drag-out life or death fight between Twilight and Tirek!
Twilight has to choose between her friends' lives and the power to save Equestria!
Discord showing he actually has a sweet side!
Tirek being so scary he would probably give children nightmares!
The six in their Rainbow Power forms!
Twilight FINALLY gets a castle!
The Mane Seven each get their own throne- including Spike!
Cameos of everyone who gave the Six their keys! Including the Breezies and Cheese Sandwich!
And Discord giving Celestia flowers (Though I hope they have sneezing powder or something in them- I hope they keep Discord as a prankster, if they won't have him totally evil)
A great end to a great season! (S4 is now my favorite season of MLP FIM)
