    Bronycon Forgetfulness

Actually, in this case, it's more that I'm so disorganized in my house that I can't find the specific Magic cards to go netdeck. That, and I left it for the last minute. Cuz that's how I roll. Apparently quite badly.

    Greetings fellow sufferers!

So the Trumby has been sworn into office and stuff. Here, have a video of Stone Cold Steve Austin getting the Trumby drunk and then opening up a can of whoop ass on him.

Every dog- err... moth... catboi... thing has its day.

To be honest, I've been playing absolute craptons of Halo 5 ever since it got released last year. Y'know, instead of trying to write because lazies. Like, multiplayer Warzone is quite amusing once you manage to stockpile enough weapons in your inventory. I absolutely suck at the game, though. Can't shoot worth a damn. But one day, I managed to go on a killing frenzy by miraculously managing to

Marble Hornets is Ending!!! D: · 4:30pm May 10th, 2014

The creators have started a kickstarter to fund the making of Season Three DVDs, which are going to feature entries 53 to THE END.

Yes. After four and a half years of driving around trying to not get butt raped by Slenderman-err, The Operator, Jay will come to the end of his cross-country adventure (spoiler: he already did).

Yes, it's been four years of our hero with halibut-eye migration syndrome to finally lay down his camera and do something incomprehensible: holding a steady job. I mean, c'mon, he's supposedly been running away for four and a half years. With a car. And video taping non-stop. Gas and video tapes cost money. That's not including Tim, who also takes anti-convulsants, which cost a crapton. Where do you get your cash/monies, Tim and Jay? Yeah, I can only suspend my disbelief so much. I can accept stories where characters are passed the idiot ball, but money issues that last half a decade, but don't actually show up in continuity... you can spread butter only so much. Unless the story is stuck in 2012 or something.

At the time I'm typing, Marble Hornets is on entry #84 with no exact end date. Just know that it is soon. I'm expecting entry #85 soon since it seems they've gone on posting them about once a month.

I remember coming across this web series around when entry #50 was released and watching what I could when I was on break at work. Heh... it a few months before I got into MLP. It's kind of sad knowing that it's coming to an end.

I'm always looking forward to each new entry and what mysteries lay locked to find in each one. And hell, there have been a shitton of those and nary an answer to any of them. I mean, it's only now that we've gotten any evidence that [name redacted to protect Tim's pills] is actually Hoodsy, and even that is rather sketch. This series has built up a ton of mystery with barely any of it ever answered. Are they about to give us any answers now that it's the end? Probably not. They're more than likely going to jam fifty more down our throats right before The Operator abducts Tim (probably), with Alex posting the last video to YouTube before joining Slendy in his paranormal buttsex party lol.

The suspense has been what's kept me clinging to the series for years. Same with the sense of danger and creepiness. It just so jarring, coming from a first person view; the scary settings really jump at you as an audience in this filming style. Then there are sequences like in entry #65 in which Tim gets dragged through space/time, warping through various locations including underwater in what appears to be a river. It's moments like this that can come off as fucking hilarious and terrifying. It is utterly amazing what these guys have done a minuscule budget.

In all likely hood, any answers seeked are probably embedded throughout the series; only implied, but never concrete. A big one would be the origins of The Operator. I can't ascertain why he's in existence in the first place and it's been implied he's been stalking Tim since he was young. Why is he so obsessed with Tim in the first place? Every little torment brought seems to in some way revolve around Tim. What the hell is up with The Operator symbol? Is it a ward? A summoning glyph? A way for him to see? Questions like these probably won't be answered explicitly by the time the series ends, but they will have already been answered, leaving the audience to backtrack and correctly piece together the clues.

I can't wait for this to come on DVD to get some behind the scenes insight. I remember reading that the way they did up The Operator wasn't some sort of mannequin rig like a lot of other Slenderman based series. I want to hear what happened when they dragged Tim through a river, getting the camera all soaked. I want to hear about how the hell they were able to film in so many abandoned buildings. Did they get permission, or did they yolo, running off when the police came, having to change the story to suit the amount of footage they managed to capture? What is the production time for an entry? Did Hoodsy and Masky molest bystanders when the cameras weren't rolling? Those kind of fascinating things.

Through all this, I wonder if their next project is more Slenderman stuff.

I do know I want to support this (fuck, there go the Docs again).

And I want of those Operator symbol t-shirts. It screams creepy and I love random obscure symbols.

It's been a fun ride and it's good to know it's winding down... honestly, I wouldn't have found out if I hadn't come across the kickstarter.

Troy Wagner's channel. It's filled with !normal.
The DVD shop
The new shop, which seems more reliable

The Marble Hornets guys react to their project being funded far beyond expectation. Looking at Troy is like looking at a surprised hammerhead shark... I should stop making fun of his eyes.
