It's in the works! · 1:28am May 10th, 2014
I have good news for my beloved followers: the reboot of the fic I took down is underway!
I am unable to contact Thardoc right now, so the new first chapter will still be a while. He was helping me with much more than simple spelling and grammar, but the story itself. A lot of the stuff people thought was stupid is either gone, altered, or has a much better explanation now.
However, for those of you who want to see the fic revived ASAP, I have an offer: if any of you are very good at intense editing, then please send me a PM, and I'll give you the link to the new first chapter.
Now, by "intense", I mean "more than simple spelling and grammar." If your editing skills are strictly spelling and grammar, then I'll have to turn you down. Sorry about that. I need someone who can fill in for Thardoc on this chapter. And that means someone who can help me make sure the story itself is good to go.
Either way, please look forward to my old fic rising from the ashes soon.
Thank you,
Mister Citadel
Yay!
Try not to make things go down hill again like last time
When you deleted them stories, I was like "Celestia Damnit!"
My offer still stands. I'll be able to look at that doc again, since my college obligations are pretty much wrapped up for the semester. I still have your PM with the link, so if you want the help, I'll gladly give it.
2094971 It's a new doc. I'll consider your offer. I'm going to bed soon, so I'll give you my answer in the morning.
2094977 What a coincidence. I'm off to bed too.
At least leave your homophobia out of it

This and your gun obsession.
2095463 Well, I hope what I've done will be to your satisfaction. Just because a society is 99% straight doesn't make them instant bigots. If you see it that way, then there's going to be no pleasing you. Lyra still gets disgusted by it, but others take it in stride, regardless of how rare it is (that's all it is: rare. Something being rare in a society doesn't instantly create a bigoted society, right? I mean, last time I checked, blacks aren't very common in the UK. Does that make the UK anti-black? No, it doesn't). This time, though, Lyra has a really good reason to be disgusted. (Think: mental scars from when she was a filly). And the ponies won't be as accepting of the main character this time around, either. If same gender pairings are rare already, reason dictates that they wouldn't be that accepting of inter-species romance.
2103722 I meant the viewpoint of gays you put in (Gays aren't people who need help, guys like you who think about them like that need help). Who says there aren't any gays in Equestria? I doubt they're 99% straight, that's impossible.
2104254 I never said there weren't any, I just said that they're rare. Very rare. And it's my story, so I don't have to bend to anyone's m/m or f/f ships if I don't want to. I say the pony population is 99% straight in my fic, so they are. I'll bend on certain issues, but I made it 99% so I don't have to be bothered by people asking me to acknowledge their OTP in my fic. I'm not being intolerant with the 99:1 ratio, either. For certain points in history, such pairings were that rare, if not rarer. One in every 100 having such attractions isn't that horrible of a concept, is it? And even if it were impossible, it's a story involving talking cartoon ponies. The story's already impossible.
Besides, as I mentioned before: the rarity of it only makes it seem odd to the average pony. Not wrong. And Thardoc suggested that such an imbalance would require the ponies to most likely have a large number who would actually frown on any romantic relationship between a pony and a non-pony. I thought the idea of getting persecuted in a world of his own design was a great idea, since it would add more tension and stuff.
2104557 Well, if you word it better than last time
