Yeah, so... I'm a dick. I said I'd stop being lazy on my fiction writing, coz it's really great fun. But I got lazy... again 
But not totally! Coz I'm putting the finishing touches on a brand new complete fic! :3
Now, I'd like to say that with the amount of time I've been away (a little over 2 months), I'd have something huge in size to deliver, but that's not the case. Not trying to undersell it, I just don't want to disappoint anyone. Moreover, it's not even supposed to be huge! This is gonna be a 6 chapter fic with about 3 to 4 thousand words per chapter, and I'm going to release the whole thing in one go. So in a way, think of it as a big fat juicy one-shot rather than a short stump of a novel. Sounds better, anyway.
And what is it about, you ask? I'm glad you asked, abstract stranger. Set in an AU Canterlot rebuilt but still traumatized after a war (I know, but bear with me, it's not all those rehashed things you're thinking about), it's gonna be a sweet and short story about five ponies, too young to have seen the war but not to old to feel its stigma, who seek to escape the frustration of their young lives by pulling off a big hit... Feel-good sci-fi vibes incoming!
And I shall call it...
I'm really excited about this one coz it had been a long while since I had had any worthy ideas for a brand new fic, because I'd been working on Ponyville Paintball for so long. Which by the way is still ongoing, yes! It's all planned out to the end, just needs to be written. I'm going in for the final stretch 
About three chapters left I think, and it's what it all boils down to!
So yeah! If you like short stories that aren't too short to just be practically open and shut, if you like buddy stories with several unique and deep characters, if you like cake and hate being late (you'll see what I mean), if you've ever wondered what would happen if someone made a cross between Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Gattaca, come check this out when I release it! And if you're intrigued, don't hesitate to share that fuzzy anticipation feeling by spreading the word!
