Update + New Coverart [Story Tagged - Overcoming the Day] · 4:16pm Apr 28th, 2014
Hey folks. So, a week or so ago, I bugged Silfoe, who I had met in a Skype chat, about art. I gave a general concept of the scene I wanted, the emotions, and Sil did up a sketch or two to choose from. Well, a week later and she has delivered phenomenally I must say. What's nice about this is that if you take away Twilight's wings, it is a scene straight out of Becoming One With The Night. However, this is also very much a future scene from Overcoming The Day, which I am now focusing my attention on the next chapter of. It make take more than a few chapters to get to this scene, but I'm thrilled with the work. Hopefully Overcoming the Day will see an update by the end of the month. No promises, but my writing speed is finally beginning to pick up some. The next chapter deals with all of the other characters outside of Twilight and Luna and Celestia as well. I think I might be a masochist, writing another scene with nearly a dozen ponies in it, all of them in dialogue. Time will tell!

That's a beautiful piece, although Twi's mane on her neck seems a little... off, somehow. I can't really place my finger on it. All in all, I really do love it, and it makes me want to read the story just to see how things got so complicated.
Btw, I stole your story tagged thing, because I finally realized how much I hate not knowing why I'm getting a fucking blog notif from somebody I'm not following and no longer wish to subject my own followers to that.
