Hey, everyone! Patriotic Pony here with a brief update and a recap.
First of all, I'm sorry I haven't been updating here as much as I'd like to. Swift Ebony and I have been busy with the revamp, which I think he'll agree is definitely worth the wait. We've just about finished Chapter One, and hopefully I'll be able to use what I've learned to speed along the total rewrite of Chapter Two revamps of Two through Five. After that I'll get back to cranking out Chapters, hopefully on a regular basis!
Now, without giving away anything big, this episode's plot had several uncanny similarities to a future plot point in the next story arc. I won't say much for now, except that they are truly terrifying in what they've caused and will cause if a certain something happens.
And as for the episode, I thought it was pretty good. Very few other characters are around for more than one scene, allowing us to focus on Rarity and Spike. Owlicious got some character development, believe it or not, and had me laughing several times! But the lesson at the end... why aren't these kinds of lessons told more often?!
