Well... I published my first story.

So after trying to write countless clopfics and failing, I've finally managed to finish something that I'm happy with and get it uploaded. It felt really weird for me to upload "Pink Proboscis" in the first place because it's based on an oddly specific fetish I've had for years (which nobody else had written about), but eventually I just decided to do it and see what people think. I may try writing more stories, depending on the response to this one. Believe it or not I came up with the idea to write a pony fanfiction about it months ago, and went through several different drafts of similar stories before I settled on Pinkie and Shining Armor as the main characters.

Fanfiction will mostly likely stay a side hobby for me since I already have so much pony artwork and other things to keep up with on Deviantart, though I do have a few other fics I started and would like to finish at some point. It's enjoyable to write stories, but very tedious for me because of my attention to detail, and I'm constantly afraid that people will criticize everything because of my lack of published writing experience. Prior to this, all I'd written is short stories for school and such, and I'm sure there's lots to be desired with my writing style. All I hope is that people somewhere will be able to find enjoyment in my story.

That's pretty much all I have to say. If you have criticism please try to be constructive about it, so I know what to avoid or expand upon in future fics.
