"When will notifications be fixed...??" (group notifications)

I think it depends on whether or not a large number of users are asking for it back. I haven't seen many complaints beyond a very small small amount of people pointing out its inconvenience, and that's mostly only on knighty's page. Assuming that increasing growing group activity could lead to another supposedly slowing of the site as roleplays seemingly did, from a programer's stand-point, having to do more requirements for sustaining a large and active fanbase, most of which isn't using the site for writing stories, is less appealing than having to support a smaller section devoted entirely to writing fanfiction.

That's all just a theory though. Group notifications may or may not come back, but at least we still have groups... Murphy's Knighty's Law.
