We've hit 500! · 3:53am Apr 15th, 2014
Hey everypony! Patriotic Pony here with another update and a something stupid!
Three months ago exactly, I announced that Discord's Tales had reached 400 views. Today, we hit the big 500! Thank you, all of you, for what you've done. I know I'm not exactly reliable with a lot of what I do, but you've all stuck with me this far, some of you from as early as day one. Thank you so much for helping my story get here! I love you all!
I had originally planned to do some work on the story, but my family and I went to see Frozen in theaters, and we took our time getting back. Let me just say that if you haven't seen it yet, DO IT! I gave it a standing ovation, and I've only done that for two films, the other one being the Lego Movie. Disney went out of its way to shoot down the bad that they did in decades past, creating a lovable cast, believable villains, beautiful music, a fantastic story, and so many FEELS!
Interestingly enough, a lot of the things that happen with Elsa and Anna are quite similar to what I had, and still have, planned for young Celestia and Luna. But I'm not going to spoil their Chapters too much! Let's just say that you're going to love them, and be in constant dread of what you know is coming. Oh yeah, there's going to be an arc or so with Celestia and Luna, by the way.
And while we're here, let's give a late but warm welcome to Swift Ebony and Lunarfighter111, proofreaders, editors, advisers, and all-around assistants for Discord's Tales of Equestria! So far, Lunar has helped me hatch new ideas for what I can and most likely will incorporate into the story, while Ebony has been working tirelessly to provide aid in the ongoing revamp of Chapter One! With these two, things should be moving along much more smoothly, and the revamp should be done far sooner than it would be if my lazy plot I were doing it on my own. Welcome aboard, guys!
