So, as some of you guys know I went on a writing spree a couple weeks ago. Almost all of them had gotten to 100 views within the first couple of days after posting them. Those three were good, yeah, but my favorite, Of Trees and Wild Beasts, has been out for a while and has only gotten some 69 views and I don't know why. It even has very positive comments on it. Somebody even takes it for headcannon! That's so awesome!
To get to the point of this blog, I ask you guys to maybe tell some people about it? If you want to, that is.
I'll put up a blog about it.
I ask my self the same question. Some of what I feel are my best bits of work have the least number of views.
I wrote one clop piece and it thoroughly smashed every other story I had for views... Leaving me a little bitter and disheartened, which is why my story updates have slowed down.
I actually thought about quitting for a while there. Immensely frustrating.
I wish I had something better to say, something witty and wise. Alas, I do not. Other than, well, keep on writing.

I am mildly peeved about it.
It has caused a bit of writer's block actually. Which is troubling. I don't feel that my current work is up to my usual standard.
I feel really put off when a terribly written story full of typos, misspells, horrible sentence structure, no spaces between paragraphs, lousy punctuation, and not even the proper format for dialogue gets like 800 views, 200 up votes, and ends up in the popular column or even featured.
Makes all the effort I put out feel cheap somehow. Know what I mean?
Like maybe I should lower my standards.

Yeah, having something that has a lot of work put into then not viewed much can be annoying. Try doing what I did. Just write a bunch of one-shots about whatever comes into your head or look at pictures on DevArt.

My one shots and short stories are the most ignored out of all of my works.
The short about Zapple Dapple took tremendous thought and effort and was summarily ignored.
