Ideas In My Thinking Jar · 3:44am Apr 3rd, 2014

Now, I know I promised that I would make a certain story...

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, my imagination has been just shooting around ideas and I need to write these down. And I'm also curious if anyone would actually want to read these, perhaps even more so then my 'Action' story.

So, without further adieu, let my imagination run free.

I CAN SEE SIDEWAYS THROUGH TIIIIIIIIIIIME!

EDIT: I'll be randomly adding ideas to this as they arise.

TITLE: DARING DO AND THE RESERVATION OF CHATEAU CLIQUE!

SUMMARY: The amazing and Daring, erm, Daring Do has always had a busy work schedule. Write books, teach history at Canterlot University and Saving the world via 'collecting' priceless artifacts. Recently however, she's been given a very interesting opportunity: A date. She met her 'dream stallion' through a dating magazine contest, so he must be perfect.

So, she puts in her finest dress, dashes on the lipstick and goes to the Chateau Cllique, the most prestigious restraunt in Canterlot and readies to have a romantic dinner with the lovely, charming and seductive.... AHUIZOTL!?

Before the date can properly begin (or end), a corrupt guard engages a coup, threatening the safety of Equestria! Can Daring Do and Ahuizotl work together and save Equestria? And, could they possibly even, fall in love?

BUT OF COURSE! NOPENOPENOPENOPENOPE! Read and find out!

Rating: Variable, so don't know.

TITLE: Past, Meet Present.

SUMMARY: Over 1000 years ago, the three Pony tribes unified together to form what would be known as Equestria. However, one fateful day, the founding members of Equestria (Clover the Clever, Smart Cookie, Private Pansy, Princess Platinum, Chancellor Puddinghead and Commander Hurricane) simply.... Vanished.

Fast forward a thousand years, and a strange group of Ponies appear in Ponyville with a flash of magic.

Now, Twilight Sparkle and friends must find out what's going in and how to send them back... For time must never meet itself.... And they are not the only ones arriving, and not only from the past...

Rating: Teen, for more mature themes, violence and such.

TITLE: Insanity Vile: Mad Scientist Supreme

SUMMARY: Equestria. A peaceful, serene country with a even more perfect capitol, it seems like Equestria may soon have it's 1000th year of (relative) harmony.

And then the Grand Equestrian Bank is robbed by a mysterious madpony with a giant mechanical tripod, promising the downfall of the Goddesses and the rise of an empire based around Insanity and SCIENCE!

And then he get's thrown in jail (but escapes).

Follow the journey of Insanity Vile, Equestria's first (or at least most renowned) Mad Scientist, and his rise to power! For soon, ALL OF EQUESTRIA SHALL BOW BEFORE HIM, AND TREMBLE!

If he can get that Faustdamned Death Ray working.

Rating: Everyone

Title: Fallout Equestria: Mutually Assured Destroyer

Summary: War. War never changes. The way it is fought, however, changes. Some wars are fought through sword and magic, others subterfuge and deceit. At the moment, Equestria is using both to defeat the Zebra Empire, all through the guise of diplomacy.

One such diplomat, Casing Bell, has landed into something more then she can chew. In a normal diplomatic meeting over the exchange of Prisoners of War, she stumbles across a sadistic plot to end the realm itself in a tide of Fire and Magic. Now, pursued by assassins and former allies, she must try and save Equestria before it burns to ash.

I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire

Rating: Mature, for adult themes, violence, sexuality and general adult-stuff.

Title: And Tartarus Shine Now

Summary: For those who bump in the dark, we bump back.

The Realm of Equestria has a secret weapon. For when Harmony or Chaos is ineffective against evil, another element must be used.

Fear. A nightmare given flesh, an Eldritchian lady of the shadows, The Devil of the Night.

The essence of Nightmare Moon, the Pony of Shadows, otherwise known as Artemis. And, this being of darkness and despair has recently acquired a Fledgeling of sorts.

Trixie Lullamoon.

Now, Trixie must adapt to the horrors (and benefits) of being a Vampony, while dark forces plot the downfall of Equestria.

(In short, a ponification of Hellsing.)

Rating: Mature, for Violence, Language and Adult Themes.

Title: Crisis Of Infinite Ponyvilles

Summary: A spell. A single spell is how Equestria collapsed. It had been intended to be a simple variation on the basic levitation spell, nothing big.

But, Twilight Sparkle didn't take into the account of the most important law of Magic: Murphy's Law.

Which is, even the most simple of things can f:yay:k up horribly.

So, instead of levitating Spike, she ended up teleporting the entire multiverse (Equestrian Multiverse, to be specific), causing them to collide and mix.

Now, Twilight, erm, I mean, ORIGINAL Twilight must try and find a way to make everything go back to normal, for if theirs one thing common amongst all crossovers, it's that when something bad meet's something else bad, horrible, horrible things happen.

Time to sit back and watch the madness.

Rating: Variable, in other words undecided.

Title: Catching Spitfire

Summary: Spitfire. Captain of the Wonderbolts, One of the fastest fliers in Equestria, Voted most Sexy Pegasi by Equestrian Inquirer, and now enemy of the state.

'What was that last thing?'

Framed with the disappearance of Prince Blueblood, Spitfire now must prove her innocence, all while trying to avoid the clutches of a vengeful Royal Guard.

Rating: Start off Teen, end up Mature.

Title: Captain Shining Armor or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the War

Summary: Shining Armor. Sister to Twilight Sparkle, Husband of Princess Cadance, Former Head of the Royal Canterlot Guard and King of the recently reformed Crystal Empire, the most peaceful country in the realm of Equestria.

He has it all.

And he hates it, for what's a soldier without a war? And, as if fate despises peace, a upcoming diplomatic conference between Equestria, Saddle Arabia, The Griffon Sovereignty, The Crystal Empire and The Republic of Prance coming up, and Shining and Cadance are the Crystal Empire's envoys.

This can't end well.

Rating: Teen, for mature themes, language and 'adult' humour.

Title: Chasing Zebras, Circling the Drain

Summary: Nurse Redheart is a rather... Unique, mare. On duty, she is cold and precise, doing everything required and above the line of duty of protecting a ponies life.

Off-duty, she is the laziest bitch you will ever meet. She's also in a lesbian relationship with Zecora, the local Shaman Witch-Doctor.

When a patient comes in on his last strands of life, Redheart, Zecora, Lyra, Colgate and Berry Punch must band together and try and find an antidote, before the patient dies.

Did I mention said patient was Princess Twilight Sparkle? So, ya know, no pressure or anything.

Rating: Teen, for mature themes and violence.

Title: One Heck of a Time

Summary: Lord Tirek, Ruler of Darkness and Evil, and one of the most vicious beings in existence.

King Sombra, former ruler of the Crystal Empire and now a Literal shadow of his former self.

The pair find themselves entrapped in Tartarus, with Discord, God of Chaos, taunting them that the first one to escape will be gain control of an entire continent filled with magic and innocence, just waiting for someone to take it.

Let the game begin.

Rating: Everyone, for Comedic humour, and overall silliness.

Title: 'Till You Tear Me Apart (pending name)

Summary: Have you ever just loved someone so much, that whatever they'd do, you'd still stick by them?

Well, Rainbow Dash has. And it's not something she entirely enjoys, per say.

For example, she's absolutely head over hooves in love with fellow Bearer of one of the Elements of Harmony, and Ponyville's locally party master, Pinkie Pie.

Today was supposed to be the day she confessed her love to her, except only one thing went wrong: She stumbled upon a secret that Pinkie would take ti her grave, and involved her taking many others to her grave.

Now, Rainbow Dash must try and help her bloodthirsty liver in her foul deeds, or be killed herself. However, as the bodycount grows and grows, the ponies of Ponyville shall become suspicious.

And in the end, death will take one of them apart.

In the meanwhile, have a Cupcake.

Rating: Mature, for Gore, Sexual Themes and Excessive Violence.

So, thoughts?

1978324 Wise words.

But, when I do write a story, I want to make one people will find intriguing or interesting. So, what do you think of the ideas?

1979200

And then the Grand Equestrian Bank is ribbed by a mysterious madpony

D'oh! Fixed it.

And of course no romance. Girls have cooties, and the mighty AHUIZOTL SHALL HAVE NO COOTIES!

Ah goddamnit, I hate it when ancient Mexican mythological beings hijack my computers. And it happens.

A LOT.

1979214

And I hate it when they set up Aztec-style temples and tropical jungles in the northern hemisphere

:facehoof:

1979228 Well, since you're the only one who's commented on here, and since there's been a few edits, I'm curious on what you think of my other stories (don't need an opinion on all of them).

2161716

so I also recommend adding an adventure of some sort to the plot

Oh, there'd be one, as I agree with you, the 'learning how things work now' thing is annoying.

Give this story a point or a moral, and consider allowing the protagonist to fail.

Give this story a point

a point

There is a point to this. It's basically saying one person cannot change fate on their own, especially in such enormous ways.

No person has ever singlehandedly changed the course of history.

And Casing Bell ain't got no help.

Give the Daggerwrist intelligent things to say, like the Raven in Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven."

Oh, I like that idea! Thanks!

:trixieshiftright:

I take that as intrigued. Am I close?

Instead of fan fiction universes, use the canon alternate universes from the comics.

So, Dinosaurs, Victorian culture, Opposites, Scientific ones, and Superhero versions of characters....

I am in love with this idea.

Don't add clop.

Wouldn't dream of it.

Doesn't sound too special.

It really isn't.

Anyways, thanks for your advice and contributions!
