    Currently away

Hey, this is ErraticOverlord's friend. He wanted me to send out this blog post because he broke his arm while doing something stupid, so he's at the hospital and away from a computer.

    URGH SICKNESS

I've been completely flat on my back sick for the last several days, so I haven't been able to finish the next chapter of SMU and me, yet. You can expect it in the next few days, but I'm really sorry I haven't been able to do it.

    It's Wednesday!

And that means an update! On Just SMU and me.

I'm going to put the chapter up a bit later today because I woke up very sick, but I'll be darned in lead socks before I give up on updating every Wednesday one week after I gave the proclamation I would.

Just be warned that the last bit of the chapter might be completely nonsensical, so you should tell me if that happens.

    Bringing you up to speed

So some of you may have noticed my sudden disappearance, followed by prolonged absence. Happy Saint Patrick's Day! · 8:41pm Mar 17th, 2014

Hello everyone on FIMFiction.net and a happy Saint Patrick's Day to you all!

You know, I still don't understand why people call it Saint Paddy's Day or Saint Patty's Day or stuff like that. It just doesn't seem to make much sense. Why would you shorten "Patrick" to "Paddy"? Why not "Happy Saint Pat's Day!"? Why Paddy? Am I alone here? Is there some etymology to it of which I am unfamiliar? *Shrugs* Just a thought.

Have a happy Saint Patrick's Day, anyway, my friends.

I believe that the term 'Paddy' is a semi-derogatory term for an Irishman.

1933817 Makes me wonder why everyone shouts it places.

1933826 Also, the 'Paddy Wagon', at least here in Britain, is used to refer to police vehicles that transport prisoners. But then, we never have got on well with the folk in Dublin now have we? :trixieshiftright:
