    Hi there, dear readers.

So. It’s been almost two months since I last updated something on my end, right? “Where’s the Letter updates?” “Are you going to write anything else soon?” “Are you okay?”

“Are you okay?” There’s a question I can answer.

    Returning From An Unannounced Hiatus!

Hello, dear readers! It's been a few weeks since the last update on Letters. I haven't said anything about the sudden absence, and for that I offer a small apology for going dark.

Long story short, family matters + writing burnout = massive shift in priorities for a while, but now I'm back to a relatively normalized state and ready to get to work again

Fluttershy's friends recommend three experts for her, instead of Fluttershy asserting herself and picking her own expert from the beginning.

Maud made a friend. No thanks to Pinkie.

She lives in Ponyville-adjacent. Sorta thanks to Pinkie.

    Thanks, Pinkie... but no thanks.

Finding a last-minute babysitter sure is hard, especially when you practically have a local shaggy-bearded unicorn babysitter back at home.

    ...Wait. Waiiiiit a minute...

An Experimental Crossover · 8:49pm Feb 27th, 2014

Some of you may/may not have noticed a new story I put up last night.

It's a crossover featuring who I consider to be one of the most dubious and devious villains in the Paper Mario Universe, Doopliss. (Dimentio nonwithstanding, that guy was absolutely hardcore...but I digress)

He's arrogrant, boastful, and a braggart. He has no problem rubbing his success in the face of others if he can.

In other words, he's a villain that is meant to be hated.

He's the kind of villain that loves being evil just to alleviate his own personal boredom, and he has no problems messing with others like a psychotic prankster if it satisfies his search for entertainment.

He's not funny like Nefarious, nor is he an unintentionally humorous character like Locus. This is a villain that's...well, a villain. A smart villain, at that.

I'm writing this story to help me find some insight as to how a villain like him really ticks, and also to help myself make a villain that I don't want people to necessarily like, but HATE. Hell, I'm hating him already, so I'm off to a good start in that department.

A good villain is one that's meant to be hated, after all. So if I succeed in doing this, I've done my job.
