One last update for Legacy of the Dark · 7:57pm Feb 24th, 2014
Well, it's finally here. I'm working on the last chapter for Legacy of the Dark.
Actually, it's already finished. Didn't take as long to write as I thought it would. It's actually the shortest chapter I've done for it at almost 3600 words, but I still have to edit it. And knowing me, it's going to surpass 3700 words after I do some editing work on it.
But beyond that step, it's finished and I'll likely upload the chapter tomorrow. And...I don't know how the rest of you will feel about the second scene in it, but honestly it's my favorite scene that I've ever written. It's just so beautiful to me, and IMO the perfect way to wrap up the story. You can guess what it is that happens, but I loved how I executed it. It's right up there with the reveal at the end of Within The Seas of the Galaxies with Twilight's ultimate fate, and yeah...it's going to be interesting to see the reaction to it.
Like I said, expect it up tomorrow and stuff. Man...I love that scene already. I hope I'm not building it up too much.
You make me want to read it right know and stab you because it's not up yet
