Update Preview

Hello, readers. I've been feeling pretty bad about not getting this story updated more often for more reasons than one. Sure it's nice for the readers to be able to get a regular viewing and it would get the storyline out faster, but that's not my main concern here.

When I had started writing Blackened Hearts, I knew I was a slow writer, but I had no idea it would take me four months to write three chapters (technically four, but I don't really talk about the prologue anymore). In fact, I had been planning on being...three chapters ahead (I'm not completely sure. I have the outline thought out, but the lines between chapters are a bit fuzzy). I actually had a specific date in mind for getting to that point in the story. That date would just happen to be today, Valentine's Day. It wouldn't be the chapter where the romance tag kicks in (that would be a chapter earlier). No, it would be the chapter where ~dun duh duh daaah~ Hearts and Hooves day is first created. Technically. For those of you who don't like spoilers, You'll know exactly why I wanted it to be released today when it happens (otherwise I'll tell you).

In other news, since I won't be able to finish the chapter for maybe another week, I have spent Single's Awareness Day Valentine's Day making a special little preview of the next chapter. Click this link because I can't figure out how to make it into a picture here.

I know I said action scenes weren't going to be a big thing in this fic, and I didn't lie. My only problem is that they work well for the story right now. At least I think so.

So, I hope you have all had a nice Valentine's Day and I will be getting the next chapter done by the end of next week, if not sooner.
