That day is incredibly vapid and shallow.
Even if I was in a relationship I would not celebrate that over glorified excuse for people to try to buy sex from their partners with chocolate.

While I do believe Valentine's Day has become an over-glorified superficial commercial idea, I do also think that every day with your loved one should be precious, and the holiday should not just be about love between romantic partners but between your friends and family, and just be about celebrating the love we have and deserve.
Now it's just a way for businesses to make more money
The whole point should be that you buy your lover flowers EVERY DAY, not just on the day people say you should.
