The Doctors Revisited part 1 (and chapter 2 progress) · 10:00pm Feb 9th, 2014
For all Doctor Dash fans (all twenty-eight of you!) I have reached a slight bump. Mostly in the plot, so don't expect chapter 2 out for a while. Actually, this was mostly a challenge for myself, so expect sporadic updates.
Anyways, since I am kind of stuck, I might as well tide you guys over with my "Doctors Revisited" pony edition list.
The 1st Doctor, as played by Octavia Melody, was the first incarnation and was a bit of a grump who traveled in box with her granddaughter [spoilers!]. Had a fondness in being right, looking superior to "uncivilized ponies", and tinkering with instruments. Her cutie mark represented her ability to modify and build machinery, including musical instruments. She became a renegade after she got bored living on Gallopfrey, stole the Tardis, and started traveling the universe for kicks. She regenerated when she was struck by a falling piano.
The 2nd Doctor, as played by Derpy Hooves, was a clownish mare with a love for muffins and flying. She was sweet and kind, albeit clumsier than normal. She loved wearing odd clothing and had an eccentric taste in food. Her cutie mark represents her ability to travel across the dimensions, and for swimming with her eyes closed. She regenerated after the Time Lords found her guilty of breaking the laws of Time.
The 3rd Doctor, as played by Roseluck, was exiled to Earthquestria and lost her ability to pilot the Tardis. She loves plants and was great at concocting potions, gaining prestige at UNIT as the resident science advisor. Her cutie mark represents decoration and potion brewing. She had a Con Mane-ish flair to her, driving around on a sooped up motorcycle and had an overwhelming confidence that was occasionally broken by irrational fear. She regenerated after suffering a radioactive rose bite from an alien rose.

Ah, Now we enter MY domain!
The Fourth Doctor: Vinyl Scratch, due to her more dominating, laid back personality. One of the cool things about Tom Baker was the fact that he kind of just took over screen time without trying.
The Fifth Doctor: Fluttershy. Because Peter Davison was the nicest Doctor, and Fluttershy is Fluttershy.
The Sixth Doctor: Two thoughts. the First is Rarity, because Rarity can play someone who is Narcissistic yet kind, and I find it to be Ironic. The other is Trixie, for basically the same reason.
Seventh: I fail to see how Pinkie Pie is Sylvester McCoy, other than the fact than it would be very interesting to watch. I'd also enjoy watching Fluttershy for the same reason.
Eight: The two ponies I always imagined to be Eight were Lyra and Rainbow Dash. I'll come back to him.
Nine: Applejack. She's the closest to sane out of the mane six and Christopher Eccelson was the least eccentric Doctor to date.
Ten and Eleven have already been cast.
I only have two little nit-picks: The first is over Cutie Marks. The Doctor has said several times that he's the "Same Man, New Face" after regenerating, and the only time he emphasized how bad it was, its generally accepted as Fanon that he was worried about turning into the Valeyard.
Cutie marks empathize how each pony is Special, and therefore unique. The Doctor should have the same Cutie Mark through each regeneration. (An hourglass, representing not her ability to time travel, but her gift of timing.)
The other is Roseluck as Three. Roseluck is very panicky in the show, inclined to running away and screaming and hysteria.
Rarity might be good for Three, or possibly Raindrops. Maybe Colgate/Minutte, her fanon personality is that she's professional, snooty, and a little OCD. Very suitable.
You want to avoid casting background ponies or Ponies without well defined personalities in Fusion Fics, because their original character tends to over power the actor.

Actually, this was designed to use the original personalities of the ponies, and bring them over to being a time lord-pony-charger-whatever. The personality for Twilight will not resemble the 10th Doctor, but Twilight's. All these background ponies and their respective personalities are based off of themselves, not the Doctors.
The Doctor can have any personality, but his core remains the same. Same moral compass, same drive, just some differences in eccentricities or favorite foods.
The Doctor in my fanfic is going to be unlike any Doctor seen on TV, because she/he will be created using the personalities from an existing fandom other than Doctor Who.
Last, my choices for 4 through 9 have already been chosen, and I'm write about them later

I stand by what I said about Cutie Marks though.
Anyway, I cant wait to see the rest. Will Trixie be in this?
