Simple Ways: The Other Ending

Applejack's mind raced. This Trenderhoof nut had been driving her crazy for two days; she couldn't stand the idea of him hanging around the farm the rest of his life chasing after her.
"Ah'm into mares," she blurted out.
To her dismay, he responded cheerfully, "Then we can share an interest!"
"All right, that's it," Applejack muttered, and turned around and bucked him clean off the farm. Leading with the right rear hoof.
"Applejack," Rarity said hesitantly. "You know, you're a terrible liar. You always get this shifty look and scrunch up your muzzle when you try."
Applejack stared at her. Then said, "Ah guess Ah just blurted that out so's he'd go away an' didn't think about how Ah was lyin'."
And she glanced both ways and her muzzle scrunched up.
