Chapter 13 - Complete

One year ago tomorrow, SS&E released the revised edition of The End of Ponies, and I started this audiobook project. Eleven months ago today, I released my recording of chapter one. As for today, here's chapter 13:

The turning point in the AJ arc. I know I keep saying this nearly every time I put one of these up, but I'm proud of how this chapter turned out. After listening to some of my older chapters, I can definitely see where I've improved over time. I still don't think I'll be leaving my job for a VA career any time soon (or ever, gahhh), but I'm at least getting happier with hearing my own voice, so that's pretty cool =)

As far as progress goes, I'm certainly not where I had hoped I'd be after almost a year. With 52 chapters to complete, my goal was to hit roughly one every two weeks. Record at the start of one week, edit through the next week, release at a week and a half, then take a break for the next half a week and repeat. At that rate, I'd be done in two years. While in actuality I'm farther ahead than 13 (I've recorded up through 15 so far) and I still have a month to go, it's still far behind what I had hoped for. having an editor has helped out a ton in keeping this moving though. But hey, what can you do? Life's a busy thing, and even if I failed to hit my goals, I'm not going to let that stop me now or keep me from trying ^_^

I'll throw up something special tomorrow as well to celebrate(?) the one year of the revised edition. It's nothing big, just a little project I had been programming a while back and finished recently.
