Couple things going to be going on in this blog, so let's dive right into the heart of it.
First up, the title. I hit 10K total story views just the other dya. awesome! Seriously, ten thousand views! That's.... just plain amazing. When I first started fiction I didn't write it for myself, and even when I did start writing my own stories, I never even dreamed of any of this. Hell, 50 followers was huge, and now I'm nearing the triple digits! I remember when I was shocked to get 1K views across al stories, never mind just one! Another achievement out of the way! I'm writing a fic to celebrate that now, and it should be released in about a week. (taking a brief break from Cheated Dreams. I need to seriously think about my plot for the next couple chapters and since we're nearing half-way through the competition I decided a vacation was in order. One that wasn't caused by Carpal Tunnel).
So other than that.... well, let's talk about that fic I just mention. The one celebrating 10K views. It's.... ah hell, I'm jumping on the flying lessons bandwagon for it. Ignoring season 4 and focusing on some fluffy Twidash flying lessons. Of course, it'll have my own personal twist to it which I think will be quite enjoyable. It's gonna be pretty long though... hope I can get it done by the end of the month if I dedicate enough time to it. I need to write some fluff every now-and-then. It's like my fuel...
Anyway, another fic I want to actually seriously talk about is that rape fic I mention a while back. The one where I felt like a terrible person because I started it. Well... it's still not done but I am actually working on it. I have to be in a very specific mood and state-of-mind to write something like that.... Anyway, what I wanted to talk about with that is... would anyone actually be interested in reading that if I uploaded it? When I'm done I'm going to show it to my editor and see what he thinks, but I also want to know what my more devoted followers think. As in those of you who read and comment on these blogs. Before you say "ew no rape get it away" hear me out. Number one; there would be a few fetishes involved, including mind control (well... more body control and not mind, but technicalities) and futa, but I may have more as I continue writing it. Oh, and I'd be writing a "clean" version along side it, meaning none-rape, and posting it at the same time in the same story, since it's technically the same story just without the rape bit. It'd be all the same fetishes just consensual. So how many people would be interested in something like that? I would just post the clean version but.... well... I did technically write the story for the rape bit.....
This bit is actually about cheated dreams. A few people (two) posted comments about how making the "Source" in the most recent chapter anonymous was stupid and unbelievable because that's not how law works. I'm here to say (and I'll be saying this in the A/N of the next chapter) I have had that fic and everything in that portion checked by a legal assistant with 20-ish years of experience in law, who worked the majority of her career in personal injury. Not exactly fraud, but it is suing people and court cases similar to what would be going on in that story. Do not question me any more about the reality unless you are an actual lawyer. I admit I could have been a bit clearer with what it was that the source gave them but from a legal standpoint it's all correct. Oh, and the "right to face one's accuser" is AMERICAN LAW (sixth amendment, to be precise). It's not universal even in our world. No saying what it would be in Equestria. Oh, and in Canada, (where I live) if it's just an investigation and there are no formal charges it is not our right to face our accuser. And, because in the story they are not pressing formal charges, they have no right to face or even reveal the identity of the source.
I rest my case.
Sorry about that, but I don't like people questioning me on things I have had checked and double checked myself. I'm all for criticism, but this is something I'm 100% sure on.
Next up is a bit about my personal life. A while ago I posted a blog about me and my dad refurbishing a '96 Harley. Well I figured I'd give a bit of a status update on that. We just put the motor and transmission back in the frame. We still have a bit to go before it gets running (and he's going on vacation to mexico in two weeks....) but it should be done soon. I might post some pictures of it when we're done. We kept the original paint for the gas tank but painted most of it black, leaving a little chrome in a few spots. It's already looking really nice.
Finally... nope; I got nothing else. So, opinions on the rape fic? Questions or comments? There's a box below for all of it.
I hear you, using advanced terminology or concepts you're always gonna get people who think they know a thing. Anyway congradulations on getting so many reads and i cant wait for you celebration story, your TwiDash fluff is always such a pleasure to read. As for the rape story, not my particular cup of tea but what the hay, why not! just picture a big Pinkie smile here!
I, for one, would read the rape fic... as long as it is not overlly creepy/disgusting/immature/completely rage inducing! (see Sweet Apple Massacre). But yeah, congratulation for the 10 000 views and keep writing whatever you wanna write!
I will read the rape-fic, and in all honesty, unless you want to, don't do a 'clean' version. It's one of those things where, when changed, it loses that which makes it unique. You have a sufficiently dark/ psychological rape fic, turning it to something consensual would just turn it into another generic clop, rather than a deep, thought-provoking rape, assuming your exploring the mind of the rapee. Also, censorship is for those who refuse to see art in it's truest form.

honestly the clean version (can it even be called clean?) is more for me than anything. Makes me feel less.... terrible for writing a rape. That and I want to see how I can do writing both ends of the spectrum (Fetish sex VS. Rape sex) since this is all new to me from a writing perspective.
Oh, and a tiny part might be so that I can tell all those people who'll undoubtedly leave hate comments about rape that I gave them plenty of warning AND there is a clean version clearly labelled. But that's only a small part.
But it's nice to know so many people that follow me have open minds about this kind of thing. I'll probably end up writing. it. Won't be done for like a month though, with the contest and everything.
