Dragonborn: Undergoing a Reboot and How I Plan to Update · 7:05am Jan 23rd, 2014
Hey everybody. This is Eric. Its been a while, hasn't it? I know its been a long time since I've made any updates on here. That's been with good reason. A few personal things were going on in my life during the time when I was trying to write out chapters for Dragonborn. My original purpose for writing the story was initially for my now ex-girlfriend. I had been inspired to write the story for her as a bedtime story to help her fall asleep. After we broke off, I essentially lost all inspiration to write chapters for the story.
Beyond that, I've been extremely hard at work creating this:
Yeah. So that sort of explains why I haven't been able to update the story as frequently as I would've liked. Since then, I've developed my skills in terms of character development and writing style enough that I think its time I resurrect Dragonborn. I plan on rebooting the story from scratch. New chapters will be written and older chapters are going to undergo a major makeover to give the original story some much needed depth. I have a new purpose for writing this story and I want to make sure that I write something better than what I had posted originally. Looking back on older chapters, I'm just not satisfied with what I wrote down and I realized that I was slacking off majorly in order to appease anxious readers who wanted to see where the story was going.
Well I'm not gonna make that same mistake again. That is why I've decided to update the story with at least one or two chapters a month. I need as much time to formulate how I'm gonna progress the characters' development as well as the overall ideas of the story itself. However, this rule is going to be in place when I finally have everything settled out and prepared for the first chapter of the new story I'm thinking up. So hopefully, in the next few weeks or so, you'll be seeing something major changes coming to the story as a whole. All I can do is just apologize for no updates and I thank everyone for waiting so patiently.
So with that said, its time to go back and give this story some new life.
I didn't know it was you.
Take all the time you need for your projects.
Well, I look forward to it.
