Sometimes, Amazon gives you a rent a textbook service. You just need to register as a student, and you get cheaper books for rent. Sometimes.

When I went back to college (...after my employer sorta went away, kinda weird how some other business owns that building now, but that's not your problem.) I found that the local two-year community college would sell students used textbooks. If yours will, you can save a few dollars, and sometimes the scribbled notes in the margins are actually useful. I went with IT Support and earned a 3.99 GPA. Then I found out that people are laying-off experienced IT support guys. I should have gone with Heating and Air Conditioning... Life makes you go
