A necessary political post · 2:11pm Jan 19th, 2014
Net neutrality allows for small companies and organizations to have equal representation online. It lets people experiment with new forms of communication and art. It keeps the world wide web a bastion of free speech. And as of this month it's been struck down by the U.S.A. government.
This is not a good thing.
In all honesty, I think it's a symptom of a bigger problem, but for the moment we can't tackle the bigger problem. This, though, we can. There is a petition that needs signing, and even if you can't sign you can spread the word. Please, help protect the net and what it represents.
That's not exactly what this decision does, but it's bad enough I'm not going to quibble. Cable monopoly is a terrible model for internet traffic.

Sorry, as an Austrian I can't sign, but I'll spread the word to my friends, MW.
I already signed this, and spread the word. We can get this overturned. And we will.
