Status on "The Past is the Future"

I'm currently in the middle of writing the 8th chapter, and I should have something ready for my editor and plot-hole finder very soon. I'm sorry that it's taken me so much longer than usual to get this written, but hey that's finals week at an engineering university for you! I promise I'm going to do my best to make this worth the wait. No, that does not mean I'm writing a clop scene.

On the bright side, I did make straight A's this term, so at least one great thing came of this little delay. Totally wasn't expecting that. I was hoping for it, sure, but I was definitely right on the borderline before finals week began hahaha.

All that aside, this chapter is turning out, so far, to be far more lighthearted and happy than the last one or two chapters, maybe even pretty funny, if I say so myself.

I've already said this in the comments section on the actual story page, but here's a hint: Sam meets Twilight's family.

In any case, I've had a few drinks tonight, and it's late, so I think I'm going to put the keyboard down, as well as the bottle opener, and go to bed.
