Sub-clop classifications and other thoughts

Ever notice how much goddamn clop there is on this site? A ton. Yeah who woulda thought right?

The biggest thing I don't like about this site (and it is not nearly enough to rip me away) is the lack of specific searches we could do when browsing. I do realize that we have all the fucking characters that we could ever shake a stick at, and I do find that to be really great. Sure it sucks when you are looking for a good fic with Luna and everyone puts her in the tags because she is in for a paragraph but all-in-all it is pretty decent.

Improvements could be made of course.

First would be the separation of Human and Humanized tagging. Seriously, they both can't be used since one is the species and the other is the humanization of another species entirely. Plus it would certainly cut down on those who want to find humanxpony over humanxhumanized that everyone always stumbles onto.

Second would be relationship tags. If the main relationship is heterosexual or homosexual, then the tags M/F, M/M or F/F should be allowed. Seeing how this is a part of basic relationship, it doesn't have to be sexual and therefore can be applied to teen/everyone fics. Those who like their BraeburnXBig Mac ships can find them way more easily.

NSFW Tags

There should be NSFW tags on basic kinks that are only visible if one has the "Show Mature" (or similar) tag clicked. This would obviously be the more larger classifications of kinks that can specify and fine-tune their search.

For example, I want to find some good ol' BDSM human on pony action. If I want to find that, I have to click the "dark" "human" and maayyybbbeee "romance" if I want a "good end". What will I get 80 of the time? Edgy kids who label their stories as mature, has humans and is labelled as "dark". The problem is that it is absolutely fine. What we should have is the kink tag, which would eliminate all of that.

BDSM, Anal, Toys, Harem, Scat, etc. should be under their own tags that are only visible when "Show Mature" is on.

It has the benefit of people being able to search for what they want, and give the site more accessibility and traffic since you can cater to a finer audience. Besides, if your story has RBD in chains being spit-roasted between two stallions then you are labelling it as mature anyways so nobody can see it without your tags.
