"For I Am A (beloved) Jelly God" · 7:34am May 7th, 2012
Did you know that there are no fewer than one bajillion* dramatic readings of "Jelly" on YouTube? Surprised me, let me tell you.
It's always gratifying when someone appreciates your work, but knowing that someone generated content based on something I created brings me a very particular sort of warmth. I don't mind my relative anonymity within the fandom; truth be told, I don't know how I'd react to e-fame. So I'm pretty okay with flying under the radar, which only makes it all the more surprising when I find someone doing something like that for something that I wrote. To all the people who found this fanfic via YouTube, thank you for reading; to all the people on YouTube who brought them here, thanks to you too. The links to the readings can be found in the referrals tab on the "Jelly" page. Voz de Suenos' podcast is among the links too, so go check him out.
In other news: "Jelly" seems to have found an audience among vore enthusiasts. There is no curse in Elvish, Entish, or the tongues of men to sufficiently express how dirty this makes me feel.
*Numbers have never been my strong suit; the "one bajillion" figure may not be accurate.
Here. This will make you feel less dirty.
103273 Aha! It worked!
You know, I almost made the opening lines of that song the epigraph for my story.
I couldn't remember what "vore" meant, so I straight-up google'd the word.
What an utterly silly idea.
