I'm super excited to advertise a new story coming this month. Not TMS 2, that's coming out sometime next week. But this one story will be up sometime this month. It's a western!
Here's the quick story. While I was listening to my favorite country songs that I haven't listened to in a long, long time (Like Cowboy Casanova (Carrie Underwood), Long Black Train (Josh Turner), That Lonesome Song (Jamey Johnson), Cowgirls Don't Cry (Brooks & Dunn) Tornado (Little Big Town) etc.), I had this fun idea of making a western story with Applejack. But instead I created an Apple Bloom story and man it would have been bad ass but I couldn't get back in the groove. I might have to re-write it but I just can't. Soon I got bored and started thinking about an AJ western tale. As I continued to think then I imagined Vinyl Scratch with AJ. But they're humans . . . if you know where I'm going with this then yes you know where the idea came from. 
I just thought up my one time idea of AJ being a western hero but . . . it's an Apple Scratch universe story. Before Christmas break started, I have been busy planning and writing this story. (Don't get crazy on me, I asked Mariacheat-Brony for permission and it seemed like he was excited with the idea.) So I got the prologue done and now I have to get chapter 1 edited and double checked. I have written Chapter 2 and that needs to be edited.
For you Apple Scratch Sister fans reading, this story is basically an alternate universe side story. Just something fun to write. It will be rated teen and maybe (I'm not sure yet) have to make it mature. The story will be about the adventures of Annabelle "Annie" Apple (AJ's Ancestor) and Melody Liker (Vinyl's Ancestor) as they go out west outside of Equestria's borders to the frontier where guns rule. They went to the boom town of Frontier City where they get hired to be hired guns to an unknown railroad boss.
Annie Apple left her husband and home to finally lead the life she wanted. Melody left to run away from her troubles in Manehattan. Melody wanted to be rich, Annie wanted to be free. But what happens when this trouble Melody was running from catches up to her? This is where the story gets interesting. Other familiar faces will be in the story. Like the talented Rose Philharmonica, the gorgeous Diamond Belle, the inventor of gunpowder Tinker Pie, retired guardsman Ace Kicker, and so many more. (And yes they're all ancestors to the main characters to the Apple Scratch verse.) Not to mention some familiar villains. Like Sheriff Jane Grimfeather and Deputy Wilber Dust. There will be horse chasing, guns, gold, sex, yep everything you can think up in an epic western adventure. And who knows you might connect some dots between the past and the present. The story was inspired and named after one of my favorite country songs by Big & Rich, I call it Just Another Wild West Story. (It'll be non-canon, but I'll try and make it canon. It's Mariacheat-Brony's call if the story is canon or not. It's his verse after all.)
So what do you guys think? Interesting idea eh? It's already in the works and I might post the prologue soon. I have placed my planning posts for my fence and unrolling the wire to make the fence. Soon I'll fence in this story and hopefully you guys will love it. Oh and if you haven't already read them, go to Mariacheat-Brony and read up his Apple Scratch Verse stories. They're great.

I bet it will. The story is all planned in my head and I'm excited to get this one out. It might be as big as my TMS stories. That's how excited I am about it.
