This blog is VERY IMPORTANT for ANYONE reading Under Our Wing
Here's the deal. Under Our Wing is going through some serious changes. I've ultimately decided to go with my plan B story line, meaning a coupe things.
1. The current description is NO LONGER ACCURATE. In the coming days I will be changing it. If you read the fic because of the promise of the description and would not be interested in anything else, then unfave the fic and run away. If you're reading for the Twidash Scootadopt and trust me enough to deliver a plot as good as the current description would imply, then stick around for a while.
2. The current tags are no longer accurate. Remove adventure, add sad, basically. The fic is changing drastically in its story. This is why I have to make the decision now; I have to decide on the plot before the next chapter is written. I've moved away from the adventure action story I had planned and am instead going a much more... emotional route, focusing more on the adoption and the events leading up to it then anything else. While the adoption itself will still play a huge role, it will still be a secondary arc. The main arc will be Scootaloo's emotional development and how she deals with an... event (sorry guys, no spoilers). She will be the focus of the story. I hope I can pull her character off right, having never written her before.
3. This means that there will be a sequel with the plot I had originally planned. If I tried to shoehorn it in to this story the main focus would lose the impact I hope it will have, so it's being dropped until a sequel. The sequel will be the action/adventure story this was meant to be. I apologize if anyone was really looking forward to it, but it'll have to wait.
4. This story will update faster then it did then it has the past couple months. This new, emotion-based plot is a lot more interesting and fun for me, so I'll be more inclined to write it, meaning faster and hopefully longer updates. Seriously, just thinking about the new plot is making me want to write it.
Again, I'm sorry if anyone wanted to see the other plot, but it will be written in the sequel. This fic is mainly dealing with the adoption and Scootaloo's emotional state after a... traumatic event, and her recovery with the aid of Twi and Dash. That is all
