Any of you who have been watching my new story, this is just to let you know that the new chapter ail take longer than I had anticipated. I have not yet come up with an actual story for this chapter, so if anyone has an idea or two I'd love to hear it. This is what I've got so far for the next chapter:
A cool morning breeze swept through Ponyville, past a quiet little cottage and a beautiful cloud house. It whooshed around a house that looked like gingerbread, and rattled the shutters on a large, carousal-like building. It swung itself around a weather vane atop a big red barn, finally came to rest in the branches of a truly monstrous tree. The Golden Oak Library. Once a lively place, filled with magic and the promise of adventure, was now filled with nothing but books. The pony who had previously inhabited it now slaved away with royal duties in Canterlot. Twilight Sparkle was certainly honored to be Equestria's newest princess, but she missed her (somewhat) carefree days as a modest librarian in Ponyville. She missed the simple, yet anything but boring town, full of friends and foe, all making here life more exciting to live.
Twilight gazed wistfully out towards the countryside. I wish I could see my friends again, she thought with a sigh. She glanced at her papers, then at several stacks of books that had been set on her desk the day before. Twilight groaned, partly from not getting enough sleep, and partly from seeing the amount of paperwork and studying she had to get done. She was interrupted from her lament, however, by a soft orange glow come from beyond the horizon.
"Sunrise? Already!?" Twilight exclaimed, shocked that she had been awake for so long. She trotted over to the window, hoping to catch a glimpse of Princess Celestia raising the sun. Oddly, she could not spot her mentor, despite the fact that she had a clear view of Celestia's chambers and balcony. This confused Twilight greatly, and she was about to try and find the Sun Princess when she heard the faint sound of arguing. She realized with a start that it was coming from above, from Princess Luna's chambers.
Well, that's what I've got. I have an idea of Princess Celestia going through horrible anguish when she banished her sister(Nightmare Moon). This is not ony because she banished her own sister, but also because Nightmare Moon looked all too much like their mother, Bright Eyes.
