I have no idea who to commission. · 11:30pm May 4th, 2012
I'd kindasorta like to comission a few scenes from Apotheosis as pictures - like, chapter four! Maybe some others. However, the only pony artists I'm even vaguely familiar with are Valcron (who has gone MIA) and JJ (Who is probably both under a huge workload and likely doesn't have time to read big excerpts from Apotheosis). I do follow drawfriends but only vaguely...
So, one, who's a good pony artist that would be up for taking such commissions, and two, other than the whole obsidian-tower-of-doom thing, are there any bits that might look good illustrated, from Apotheosis or OTEOTM?
I highly recommend Stalin the Stallion. His only requirement is that you leave a detailed comment on his story, which I think is fair.

The big question here is not who to commission, it's how much are you willing to spend, and how long are you willing to wait for it to maybe get done? And possibly if you have a 'style' you're looking for.
Personally I'd LOVE to see the inside the celestial clock scene; as well as the rune tower, and Spike's parents, and the swimming scene, and the transfer of godhood, and Twilight shining out to everyone with Spike wearing sunglasses. XD

So far as money goes, I could probably afford to blow $200ish total on commissions.
I suppose I could trawl through drawfriends and visit their DAs but I was hoping this would be easier *cough*
99441 Like I said, Stalin is good in my opinion, and all you have to 'pay' is to take time to review his story for him. Do a detailed review and he'll make you a detailed picture. I think it's a good deal.

She's a really fine artist, I recommended her to Nonagon of Death Note: Equestria fame and BAM, there it was, the brand new cover art. You might have to pay her some for her work, I don't know exactly if that's certain and how much if it is.
