Power Rangers reference, Spike is Snarf from Thundercats, the villain is the Joker, Applejack looks kinda like Deadpool, Flutterhulk, Pinkie is from Tron, I'm gonna stop before this gets out of hand.
So there's a store that sells enchanted comics that can suck you in and put you and your friends in mortal danger while learning a lesson you've already learned like twice before? How is that legal? Oh yeah, this is a world where three children can rent an industrial-strength hair dryer without an adult.
Maneiac, unlike Brainiac, makes terrible puns. She is therefore the superior villain. The hair deal, if you will.
AN EVIL SHAMPOO FACTORY! SPLIT ENDS! DRYNESS! A MATTED AND FRUMPY BODY OF HAIR! MWAHAHAHA!
So... What does that giant hairdryer actually do, aside from making everypony's mane grow out of control?
To be honest, this episode felt like filler, unless the Enchanted Comic Shop turns out to be a plot point or something.
