Thank You! (And More)

I'd just like to extend a bit of a thank you for the nice reception that If Only In My Dreams has received.

The story may still be new (less than a day old), and there aren't that many views yet (few hundred), but the favorites are adding up and I enjoy reading the comments. I'd also particularly like to thank anyone who was thoughtful enough to add the story to various groups that it belongs in. You have no idea how much I appreciate little gestures like that.

Additionally, there aren't that many comments on the story at the moment, but at least a third of them mention the hope or suggestion of a sequel. I'll be the first to admit that creating a likable OC is no easy task, so to see some interest building up in seeing more of little Rose Aphid is encouraging.

I mentioned in the comments that I intentionally left the ending as ambiguous. I like the idea of the reader deciding what Rose's ultimate fate will be. That said, the side-effect of having such an ending is that it does leave room for a possible sequel.

While I won't promise anything just yet, the more people who express interest in this, the more likely I'd be to have another look into Rose's life and see what we might make of it. I am also open to borrowing the character out so, if you're interested, feel free to write your own versions of what happened to her after her meeting with Pony Joe.
