For a few days now, my mind has been circling around the events of Flight To The Finish. There was so much wasted potential. There were so many important things unsaid. I wanted to correct that.
This is probably my most show-accurate fic to date. I tried to keep the language clean and cut down on anything that would even remotely trespass on the 'teen' rating. Most of all, I really put effort into making the characters as in-character and show accurate as possible. I wrote it in under 24 hours, though I admit sleeping a few hours around the middle to clear my head. (12k words in a day? Wow!) The topic is really important to me and I like how the fic turned out. As soon as it's through moderation, I hope you'll give it a go.
Who knows, if people like it, I might clean it up even more and toss it over to EQD. I know how much they love these sappy SoL stories.
