After spending most of last night writing a paper, and the early morning taking a test, I finally had time to take a quick break and buy the last of the Micro Series for the MLP comic, starring the Princess of the Night, Luna.
Highlight of the week.
The comic was absolutely wonderful! Luna believes she can handle Celestia's job ruling over the affairs in 'The Day Shift' and quickly finds herself in over her head. The banter between her and the royal adviser, Kibitz is hilarious, and once again, we have perfect facial expressions to match. We have some great cameo appearances from the hippie ponies from the Rarity Micro, as well as Flim and Flam and even Fancypants.
Reading this story, I just saw like, three fanfictions become 'canon.' Great minds think alike I suppose. The best selling point of this one I think, was Luna's new pet possum, Tiberius. I'm totally on board with this development.
The only thing that bugged me about this was one comment Luna made about the time she spent 'on' the moon. Does no one anymore understand that Luna was locked in the moon, not on it? The Mare in the Moon! It's really my biggest pet peeve. Other than that, the comic was flawless, enough to almost put Luna back on my list as Best Pony.

Whew, one more essay, then the last (hopefully) math test I'll ever have to take! By Saturday, I should be back to writing!

Oh! I can't wait to read it! i saw the preview pages for it! looks like a great comic! I love the MLP comics. I just wants a third side-series on EQG.
