So much for finishing everything up back in September. I do have ideas on closing the series, but job-searching stress and being easily distracted (I'm not normally a writer by trade and I do my most productive work when away from Wi-Fi, a.k.a. when I'm a passenger on a long trip). If all goes well, I'll have a chapter for Royal Flush up tonight. Feel free to criticise any spelling/grammar mistakes (I don't have an actual editor, though I do have someone who lets me know if he likes the story idea or not), since it'll be hot off the press, as it were. Either tomorrow or Wednesday night, I want to be finished with the final chapter and epilogue.
After that, I'm going to take a week or two of break before putting serious work into the long-promised Rarity Does Canterlot. The progress I have on that is that the first chapter and the postlude are both completely finished, the second chapter is nothing but an idea, the third is longer than planned and needs connecting between its scenes, and the fourth and fifth both have stubs that need to be fleshed out and connected. I'm not sure whether I'll post them all at once or linearly (since I have a strong feeling that the second chapter will be the final one I write). After that my PCAF project is done. I'll still come around every now and again, though.
