You're telling me. Literally I made a blog where I was yelling the whole time in caps and swears (to fit the situation of course, not raging) and it was deleted for NSFW and I don't even have blogs on my front page. I even put a a warning.

I had NSFW entries I went back and "fixed" using webdev tricks to remove the NSFW flag. Did they actually delete them?

If you look at my list of blog posts to the right you'll see that two of them were marked [nsfw], and when I click them I get "page not found."

That means they're still there, just locked away. If you mouseover your username in the bar under the banner, then click "blog posts", you can still access, edit, and alter them (but you can't uncheck NSFW without fiddling in the HTML). You can even copy them and dump them into fresh new blogposts.
