Update (A Highly Original Title, I Know) · 1:53am Dec 5th, 2013
Hello there, readers of this blog! (If there are any.) This is just a quick update to let you all know what's happening with my current story, Twilight Sparkle: Consulting Detective. I know it's been a while since I've updated it (and by that I mean posted the first chapter and then promptly disappeared for three weeks), and I'm sorry to say that I don't have a very good excuse for that. I can't even say that I've been too busy or that I have writer's block. Quite frankly, I've just been lacking the motivation to actually write anything recently.
Here's the good news: I now feel motivated! I wish I knew what actually caused me to enter this 'writing mood' so I could replicate it in the future to motivate myself, but I really have no idea why I suddenly feel like writing. Anyway, I've finally started working on chapter 2 of the story, and I also updated chapter 1 to fix a few typos and add a few details. You might want to re-read it if you've already read it, since some of those details will become significant later on. I suppose that's the annoying part about publishing chapters individually for a mystery story: you often end up thinking of more clues to leave for readers after you've already posted the chapter. Chapter 2 will probably be up in a couple of days, but as all of my friends will tell you, I am absolutely horrible with ETAs, so don't hold me to that.
