i suck at writing. who was i kidding, thinking i was remotely talented? i mean, look at how i write then look at how everyone else writes. i just fucking suck. i have a book on Kindle for 5 months and not 1 buyer. let's just face it... i suck! i am on a new level of sucking. if they made a new level for sucking, they'd call it 'the Zach'.
my stuff is better at being TV shows or movies or video games but it's too expensive just for them to even look at them. and you have to know someone on the inside.
who was i kidding? i'm always going to be a nobody... and i'm always going to suck... i'm a veritable loser. no wonder all my real life friends and my girlfriend left me... why stick with such a horrible loser like me?
why do i even bother...

Well if you think about it that way, of course it's going to look bleak. When you view a feat like publishing a full-length book as a failure, you know your priorities are mixed up.
Don't get me wrong though- it sucks that nobody bought it, especially after I advertised it on my facebook, tumblr, and twitter accounts. Still, you did something amazing just by putting your work out there for people to read. That's something even I haven't managed to do yet, and I've been working on three full-length novels for so long now that it's almost impossible to believe.
Just think about that before saying that you're a loser, because you're braver than most of the people on the site.

U don't suck I'm the one who does and I'm willing to admit it . But you are better than I, beacause at least you have an idea which direction your stories head. I don't I just wing it instead of haveing a plan where they lead and end.

I suck, who cares, we all come to this site to express ourselves... to write and enjoy work of art made by fellow fans.
We write on here for fun, not for money or to become famous, that's not important, what is important is that we enjoy what live throws at us... an we carry on no matter what...
We all have faults, we all ave issues and we all look at our lifes with disgust and annoyance. You dont need to be a well known author or a film director or whatever to be famous, your actions and what you do will... If you really feel your life sucks... look at the Philippines, look at the African countries... You have a lot more than they do, yet they are all still going... Just remember that when life feels like shit... it could be worse, at least you have the internet and a computer.

I would have bought it if I wasn't on restriction...
I believe in you man, you're not alone and a lot of people think you're pretty awesome.

Pardon my train of thought, but WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?! The entire fanbase is dedicated to loving each other and accepting others to allow them to better themselves. If you aren't happy with your writing style, don't give up: KEEP WRITING and asking you devoted, passionate fans what they think about the changes you're making. I don't want to ever hear you say you suck or put yourself down in the slightest.

We are always here for you, and I speak for all of your deepest fans when I say that you are not a loser, you are NOT a failure, and you ARE NOT WORTHLESS.
You don't suck, Zach. You just need to realize that if your friends have left you, then they aren't true friends. I can't imagine anyone being so heartless as to leave a friend in need, and I want you to know that you have us. Writing is something that can be used to release so much, you just have to stick with it and before you know it you'll be at that point where you can look back (whether you're famous or not) and say
"I did good."
Please don't be so hard on yourself.
Well for somebody to actually buy your book you would have to advertise it in some way. Also whats the story called?
