Good news, everypony! [strike]I've invented a spell which makes you read this in your head, in my voice![/strike] After careful consideration of arguments on both sides, I have decided that I will continue forward with A Different Kind of Magic, and save any major editing for after the story is complete. This does effectively mean that you're all reading a draft of sorts, and I hope that's okay.
But bad news, everypony! I probably won't have another chapter done until next week, because the next three days are the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo, so I'll be busy visiting booths and buying swag and attending panels listening to the likes of Wil Wheaton and Adam West and Sir Patrick Stewart and Stan Lee! I'm excited!
Oh, and there's this little-known voice actress who is going to be there too. I mostly know her from her role as Rikku in the Final Fantasy series, but I hear these days that she's voicing a unicorn on some cartoon about pastel ponies. Seriously, what is up with THAT!?

Only thing that distracts me from my readings and writings are final projects and exams

As for the first chapters being a draft of sorts, to what extent can we expect the edits? Id est, will it just be largely syntax and punctuation, or will it be complete sentence revisions and a entirely new structure?
