My first ever (Unofficial) MMA fight · 1:51pm Oct 29th, 2013
I got myself a small sparring match in school (Sadly no one recorded it, I remembered someguy was holding a phone, but I think they decided to just not record at all)
Apparently, word got around that I practiced MMA, so one of my friends told me some guy wanted a friendly sparring match with me.
Well...
And this was huge, it's not everyday you get someone like me (I had the reputation of slamming people. Alot) to clash with a trained Muay Thai fighter (Yes, he knew Muay Thai, and almost killed me with it), no less than 30 students came down to watch
Tension was fucking huge, everyone was talking about it, word got around QUICK.
But the thing is, I forgot everything :P
Maybe I got hit in the head too hard, I dunno, I came out of the fight barely remembering anything except that I lost and that at some point in round 1 I did a huge slam
apparently that slam was enough to stop the crowd from boo'ing me when I lost (the reaction to the slam was huge by the way)
that slam was also enough to captivate the attention of some of the really popular kids (Who actually came down to see the fight themselves by the way), now they think i'm cool
fahk me
Aah fighting, honestly one of the few things were I don't really understand people's love of it.
Some context first. My branch of my family (we're a massive family. The family tree is three separate panels.) is really well known for two things. Our massive tolerance for pain. And our almost ritual injuries. (I can barely use the thumb and index fiber on my right hand, and my father and grandfather both lost fingers on theirs. Also, you're only really one of us if you've suffered a serious head injury before the age of nine)
Yeah, with a family history like mine (and the fact that I can jumpy into a scrap field and keep walking to the hospital, I have scars running up to half-way up my thighs.) you can probably see why I dislike fighting.
You lost? That sucks, but hey, least you did the slam thing and got out with your dignity in tact :P
1463509 it was a friendly sparring match, injuries weren't too severe (Couple of scrapes and a sore left knee, but other than that, I'm fine)
1463530 I was honestly worried that I broke his back or something
round 2 didn't start until quite some time.
1463583 So what kind of fight style are you trained in, wrestling?
1463588 A slight tinge of Wushu, but it's mostly made up of boxing. Wrestling... I honestly don't know, my ground work is only somewhat decent, I'm only great with slams, grappling and all that is only average.
Awwwww, too bad you lost. But, god, at least you got out with a little popularity boost.
1463583 Good. Good.
But seriously though, fighting is a little bit of a fools errand, plus it means extra work.
And as a favorite saying of mine goes, there's two bad things in world, work and hunger.
1464364 There's a reason why I fight.
Last year, I actually got bullied in my school believe it or not, and, I went home and told my parents.
My dad's facial expression said everything. I was failure to him. First, I watch ponies and now this.
Ever since that day he's definitely been showing more love and affection towards my younger siblings, he rarely ever talks to me and never even addresses my presence.
And so, I took up MMA. Basically to show him that, well, I'm not the failure that he thinks I am.
1463800 Which is bad.
I don't wanna be friends with the popular kids. They're just underaged thugs.
1465333
Meh, then ignore them.
1465423 They came to my class asking to see me
they proceeded to ask me a barrage of questions and gave me a pat on the back
i came home to see that my facebook had over 20 new friend request
1465508
Oh.
Hehe.
Hehehe.
HEHEHEHEHE.
'Tis revenge!
1465511 revenge?
for what?
1465515
Hehehehehehehehe, you know.
1465517 oh
well... time to really get things started then
1465519
Fuck.
1465522 this isn't even my final form
1465523
Goddammit.
