Well... My life, I don't know, anymore...
Recently a bunch of friends of mine started talking about our lives. I started thinking about mind and depression set in once more. I don't know anymore, I don't know if I'm cut out to be a writer. I can't adhere to a schedule, I can only write mediocre stories, and I don't even have a large enough fanbase to give me reason to write. I mean, you guys are awesome but none of you ever give me any support. You don't even check my blogs! I think the most comments I've ever seen on a blog is 3. I know I only have, what? 20 followers? Doesn't matter! I get NO support and NO inspiration from you people!
I'm half tempted to just up and quit writing.
Sincerely yours,
Sartarus
I enjoy your work very much I would try to point you out to others but I dont even have as many followers as you do. Sorry.
Sar, so help me, if you quit writing, I will drive down to Louisiana and hug you into oblivion. You are an excellent writer, but don't get discouraged by lack of publicity. Your time will come.
Bro, don't ever think that you don't have support. You do. Whether it's small, or large. Whether it's just from your friends. Keep on writing, it's something you enjoy doing. You don't do it mainly for the public, you just write because you enjoy it. Come on now, bro. Cheer up, and listen to some Smile Smile Smile
I forget what you wrote, lemme check your stories list.... oh, actually, I haven't read either of your stories Why did I click watch? Oh well
Listen buddy, you DO have support. And even if you don't think you're a good writer, which I think isn't true, I think you're a great writer, that shouldn't matter if you enjoy writing. Your fanbase alone shouldn't be your sole reason to write. If you really enjoy writing, then keep at it, and get better and better. I know this is probably the corniest line I could use to convey my point, but I'll use it anyway, "Practice makes perfect." If you keep writing, you'll get better, and your enjoyment of writing should help you through the stress you face. Personally, I have checked your blogs, but I'm normally just not outspoken, so it's rare for me to comment, and this is, of course, an exception. I love your stories, personally, and I hope you don't quit. Allow me to drive home the point of fanbase size and writing skill not mattering too much if you enjoy it with this fact: My friend on this site, LemonZorz, has writing skills that are not all that great, and he has a very, very small fanbase. Only 3 people follow his blog, including me. But he keeps writing with happiness and spunk because he likes doing it. Don't give up now. You have support, you have fans, and we love you.
Best Regards.
Hmm.. *looks at highest rated comedy fics* Dude, you're higher than me
You've got something going for you

As long as there is one person who comments or thumbs up or whatever, you have more than enough support. I my earlier fan days, I wrote a fanfic for another show. In the end, it came out to close to 60 printed pages. I had one person comment on that story. It doesn't matter how many see or write about or thumbs up a story. If you can entertain one person though that little part of their day, then you have succeeded. And my good fellow, you have succeeded. Do you need to work on a few things? Yes, everyone does (even me) but that's natural. As long as you improve, and from Scratched to Blutterflies, you've improved a lot. I very much look forward to the end, and a future of many great works.
Inspiration doesn't always have to come from the people around you, although it helps. Take for example my hobby. I love to yoyo. I have friends who are just about my skill level and we all help each other make up all sorts of new tricks, but most of the time I make up a trick from natural patterns like a leaf falling in a sporadic way, or something else out of the ordinary. I'm not saying use a leaf for inspiration, but try something that you haven't tried before for it instead. It would really help in the long run.
I literally just read five chapters of your work, when I should be revising for an exam in two days. Your stories aren't mediocre, they are works of literary art, you have great ability, you are an amazing person and I think you should stick to it. I will be following you from now on and I will never have regrets. Have faith and your time to shine will come.

If you call it quits, you won't ever get anywhere. Even less people comment on my stuff.
