This rant is something that has been boiling at the bottom of my belly, and it just now came out. It's probably a little old, but something I saw last night kind of made me remember it. And so you guys get to be inundated with it.
I'm going to start off with a couple of facts.

>I really really like Dr Who.
Anyway, you might wonder what this has to do with FiM. NOTHING IF I HAD ANY SAY IN THE MATTER.
But, no, Dr Whooves is thrown into the stories I read even if he doesn't have anything to do with the concept. When he isn't being thrown in, he's being hinted at. I guess I can throw in another face. If I'm reading your story and it has the Doctor in it... I'm reading it despite that fact. While I may like Dr Who, that doesn't mean I like reading him everywhere.
I like a lot of things that I wouldn't throw into FiM.
What is wrong with people liking two separate things and keeping them separate? There is nothing wrong with liking Dr Who but still wanting Time Turner to just be Time Turner. In fact, there's plenty right with it. It just gets extremely frustrating when I read about a time lord pony so much. There are no time lords in FiM, there never were. And the fact that people are throwing him into it means that a lot of you are just plain crazy.

I like Dr Whooves but him being a Time Lord is a step too far, IMO.
It is just a cheap gimmick i'll admit but it's just so engraved in everyone's over-analysis-minds that'll never go away, I myself hate the stereotype that Rainbow Dash is gay or bisexual, but I don't down vote and hate all those stories as there's utterly no point. It would do nothing.

Oh, I don't down vote stories when the Doctor is in them. I just roll my eyes. Now if they're mediocre stories with the Doctor in them? I take my favorite back and go somewhere else. Can't remember the last time I ever down voted a story.
I also don't hate the story, just the character.
