Story Idea 05: Hairstyle Preference · 2:16pm Aug 12th, 2013
This is for story ideas anyone can use and modify however they wish, just be creative and thoughtful I guess.
A simple one this time.
This would be Pinkie X Someone. Really, anypony can work, but the quality of the story will be mostly based on making the relationship and chemistry work, not this idea alone. Likely this would work best being months into an official relationship, though if it works better another way, go for it.
Whomever Pinkie is with will have seen her straight hair before, really liked it, and makes a request that Pinkie wear it like that more often / when in private together / for dates. Given how we've seen the straight hair come about, this will become a difficult request for Pinkie but one she feels she needs to try and honor for them. She would struggle internally in someway (Pinkamena persona / trying to be depressed while outwardly seeming happy / something comedic if want that tone) while trying not to show her pains and keep her special somepony extra happy.
Having a date scene would be almost required (unless going for 'only when we're alone' option) with Pinkie needing bathroom breaks to recompose herself. The tone of this idea could be taken many different ways, comedic / sad / hidden-struggle / not being true to self for another / slice of life / super-romantic / etc. Trying to stay vague to let writer come up with whatever they want, but hard to see this story ending any other way than the special somepony realizing Pinkie's struggles and apologizing and a make up scene and whatnot. Or take it a dark way, though not what I'd want to see.
