Been a while...sorry about that. I have excuses! Many Excuses!
Unfortunately what put this off the most was the passing of my last grandparent. That was tough and the rest of the extended family certainly didn't help things at all.
Since that all got worked out I've been preparing for a move and starting a new business! Massive change is just around the corner for me. Hopefully everything will go well.
So I made the corrections to ch 2, and ch 3 is being begun in earnest. This is the flashback chapter and it may be big enough that I'll want to break it into two. There's...a lot of material so I hope it keeps everyone interested. After I get ch 3 finished and one pass by my editors if people are interested I may throw a link out for those interested in reading the per-release version. You know just in case something ELSE happens to me and this is delayed further. Also people pestering me seems to help a lot with getting stuff done.
Anyway thank you for your patience and here we go!

Thanks for the well wishes Broderick. It's a gamble but that's what keeps life exciting! I'm putting my nights much more towards finishing the next two chapters (though it may be just one big one if I don't split it up).

Definitely a more recent one. Not sure though, the uniforms look a lot like something from Ouran, but it's decidedly not. Modern moe stuff? I got nothing.

Still thanks for the sentiment. It had been a long time coming and Gramps made it to 93! Should I be so lucky to make it that long. Independent till the end, he was one lucky bastard XD.
I'm fine now, Gramps had a good run and while it was tough at the time, he was ready.
Good chunk of the way through the newest chapter if you follow me for my stories instead of my asshole rants.
