I'm Not Dead, But I HAVE Released A Book

Hi guys. As always I'm really sorry about how long it's been since I posted here. I mostly used this blog as a place to talk about ponies and to be completely honest I'm still yet to see any of season five. Horrific I know. I'm waiting until I can watch it with the girlfriend and she's been too busy to do so. It sounds like I'm missing some pretty good stuff though.

    Merry Christmas Everypony!

Merry Christmas everypony. I hope you get something nice you really want, or give somepony else something they really want. I'd give you a Christmas update but it's a bit too grim for a day that's supposed to be happy. Christmas also marks the day I joined Fimfiction. Well, Christmas Eve does. I missed it though so here's a happy whatever we call the anniversary of our joining here.

    A Video I Did

I'm afraid I'm here with more shameless self promotion. I wish I could offer you more but unfortunately there's not much to offer you at this point. I'm trying to take some steps to improve my life positively and take things in a better direction. To that end I recorded myself doing a recording of one of my stories, Tulips. I'm not asking you to buy anything this time. I'm just asking that you

I Have New Short Stories Out

Non-horse ones I'm afraid. I don't know how many of you are interested in non-horse stories from me but this is pretty much the place where I have the most people listening to what I say  If you're interested in horse stories from me then I'm afraid you're going to have to wait as I'm still focusing on non-horse fiction at the minute. Life keeps getting in the way of that too. At

    I'm A Published Author, Again!

I know we've been waiting for this for a while but the time has finally come. I have been published, properly. Still through Amazon, but that's okay. I can live with that. I don't know if I even told you the story of this story, so I'll tell it you know. I wrote a poem called The Beast. I then got the idea to extend it into an actual story...that I also called The Beast. After reading through the

I Was Up Unitl 2AM...Again · 9:23am Jun 7th, 2013

But I wasn't just lying awake and trying so silence the voices in my head. I only have one voice in my head for a start. Okay maybe two or three but that's it. What I was doing was thinking up a fantastic new idea. I mentioned in the story notes on a recent chapter of Working Towards The Future (that will be updated shortly after this post goes out, I want to link to this post in the notes) that I think I'm now going to have to bring in Scootaloo's family. I also said I had thought of a good way to do it, but felt that if I did then the story would drag on forever and the beautiful ending I thought of would be marred. My brain gave me a solution to this problem, and then proceeded to just blast ideas at me.

A second Scootasequel.

I already do have most of it planned out now but I can't tell you too much about it without giving away a lot of Working Towards The Future. But I think you'll like it. It's the next few chapters of WTTF I'm unsure of how much you'll like :twilightsheepish: Well that sentence made no sense. It made sense to me at least. So anyway, there will be a third story in the series. It won't be as long as Working Towards The Future as so far I only have one major event planned in it. It may just be the story of that one event. I would make WTTF longer but as I said, the ending I have is so perfect I don't want to ruin it by continuing the story.

Starting a new story provides a way to do that. It also provides the opportunity to make a brand new perfect ending. If I had to give an estimate I would say it's going to be perhaps 20 chapters long, and I'm going to treat chapters a little differently. In WTTF I threw word counts out the window, and tried to write at least three pages or 1500 words. With this new story I'll be trying to write four pages, or 2000 words, per chapter.

It could end up a lot shorter than I think, and it could end up a lot longer. If you're wondering by the way how much of WTTF is left, you have a long time left. I'm up the chapter 40-ish in the document and I've written about three quarters to four fifths of the story. There are three or four major events left to happen, each that will take a few chapters.

I must admit I do have a slight problem with this though, and that is that focusing on fanfiction, as much as I love it (and boy do I love these stories I'm writing) means I can't focus on my original fiction. I'll find some way to deal with it though. I always do

TL;DR I'll be writing fanfiction for the foreseeable future and probably so long I'll miss the start of S4 because I don't like watching the show while I'm writing fanfiction.

Another sequel you say? Dammit, I still haven't even gotten to the crossover parts of my True Sight story to meddle into your universe! :pinkiesad2: My editor just kind of disappeared for a while ><

Well it's going to be a few months at least until the sequel is up. WTTF still has some mileage left

Good, good... now where is my editor?! :flutterrage: lol 1130275

If I knew I'd tell you. Try sending a carrier pigeon. If they're not online then a pigeon should be able to find them.
