I got my start in fanfic in 2005, in the Teen Titans fandom. I was a reader of fanfic for quite a few years before I ever even considered becoming a writer. When I did finally take that step, one of my particular favorite authors was a great aid and inspiration for me as I was 'learning the ropes,' if you will. Now I am very pleased to say that they have found their way to the Pony-fandom, and have posted their first fic here.
Tea and Regrets, by Hoof and Quill
Give it a read, it's just a little sad, but also very sweet and heartfelt. We need more fics (and writers) like this one.
