People... I gotta be honest with ya... I... I have a song in my heart. My soul is singing and my spirit is humming the bassline.
I realize, in my absence, that we have a bond you and I. A bond forged in the fires of mutual trust and cooperation. Love and laughter have accompanied us on our journey to this very point in time. Our companionship is more than a mere word of understanding, it is the wanting to share what little precious time we have in this world with each other.
In all of time, this very moment will never happen again and there has never been a moment more important than right now.
It is at this time I realize; I have neglected you guys. I have strayed on the path and seen the darkness. I ask you to forgive me. To forgive my sins and help me. To scold me as I stray from the way and hold me as share stories at the bonfire.

I'm sorry, I can't hold it any longer. Hi there! You might not have noticed it, but I took a little vacation from Fimfic for a bit. Just to recharge my batteries and all that good stuff.
Now I return before you as an enlightened man. I took a trip back in time, in non-literal way of course. Before I found Fimfic, I was, of course, still on the internet. So I thought to myself; what better way to recharge my spirit than to go back and look at what I used to do? And that is exactly what I did.
I went back and watched a ton of anime, mostly my old favorites. Animes such as Gintama, Ouran High School Host Club, Needless, Zero no Tsukaima and To aru Majutsu no Index.
I love Toradora! Yes it's romance, I don't care! I CRY!
And I also returned to something I did ages ago: Reading manga. By god I forgot how many hours I spend back in the day reading these. I stayed up all night to read all kinds of stuff, somehow ending up in the comedy and romance sections quite a few times.
Beautiful story... at least until part 2.
I also watched a ton of neglected Youtube content, which I could go on about all day, so I won't. I won't go into details on how much I enjoy watching BdoubleO and GenerikB... B-TEAM!
I also read fanfiction. Yeah, you read that correctly. I went back to read what many consider hell in fanfic-form:

I did stumble across a few diamonds in the sea of feces, but most of it was just... shit. Now I vaguely remember why I like this place. We at least have some form of quality-control.
But I digress, that's not what I'm trying to get across. What I wanted from this blog was actually asking you guys; what did you do online before coming here? What sort of adventures did you go on before settling down in this humble place?
Even if you don't want to take the time to post a comment here, I suggest you give it a few minutes to brew in your mind. Additionally, try to go back and look at what you used to do and you might find it incredibly enjoyable, know much smarter and experienced.
I know I had a ton of fun reading a Naruto/Fairy Tail crossover... don't blame me, it was actually pretty good.

I played a LOT of video games and watched anime. That was about it. Now I get on here and see everyone, and the best friends I've ever had, I met here. So while I still go back and play games or watch an anime now and then, FimFiction and ponies in general have made everything in my life just a bit easier and more fun.

Edit: I would make fun of you for your search of Naruto Fanfiction, seeing as I heard about it from a certain source >.>, but I ain't that type of guy, as we all have things we regret, especially when I've read my fair share of shit as well.
Edit2: And what seasons of Zero No Tsukaima did you watch? Just curious as I've only gone up to 4th season but never watched it (besides the first episode) as I sort of felt that it lost that specialness it had back in the first and second seasons. Also sucks that the author of the light novel never got to finished his story, only being able to release 20 of the 22 volumes he had planned.
1061719 I'd like to believe that I've watched all of it, but it's one of those animes where I find it hard to find all the sequels for some strange reason.
