Pew Pew Pew! It's update time! [Update 3! It's out!] · 1:12pm May 6th, 2013
So as I promised, here is a small update on the chapter. I have the story laid out and 2,000 words of it written, I will be pressing on with writing it tomorrow night after I go to see Iron Man 3 with some buddies. Also, going to make a small change to the way I post these updates, With each chapter I'll only have one blog post that I keep updating with progress. I'll make sure to post the days of each update as well, to help give a sense of overall progress and as a reminder to myself to not be too lazy.
One other thing. In the prologue I had written the origins of Backlash's cutie mark, but I mistakenly edited it out (I just don't know what went wrong!). Anyway, I am writing it into this chapter so it's less of a mystery to everypony!

[Update May 8: The chapter is about 60% done and looks to be on track with where I thought it would be! Huzzah for not falling behind!]
[Update May 9: The chapter is done and Bad Pun is diligently proof reading the hell out of it. I'll be going over it tomorrow when I wake up to see if I like how it reads. If it makes the cut, I'll post it up. If not, I'll update the blog here yet again.
